Apartment District for 1000 Occupant

Jõekaare Residential Tower is an architecture project of an apartment building which was designed by Atelier Thomas Pucher + Bramberger. The construction completion was finished at August 2008. The site of this residential district takes a location in an area which is formerly hosted by industrial building. At the area live 100 000 inhabitants’ City of Tartu. The site has main exceptional position characteristic at an extending of the central Estonian Emajõgi River; facing the fascinating landscape of a natural reserve on the opposite side.

The building is expected to be finished at 2014 with total building comprises nine buildings that offers 440 apartments which could be occupied by 1,000 occupants. Answering the site condition which is surrounded by nature and urban environment and remembering that the building site is located at the suburban position, so this architecture project uses the urban architecture plan. The urban architecture design is considered because the inhabitant still respect to their privacy but in other hand also still enjoy with community life.
